The Netherlands have given king Haakon a great welcome - a welcome worthy to seafaring people greeting the king of a seefaring nation. Earling in the morning, the royal salute sounded across the North Sea, fired by the H.S. MS torpedo boat hunter 'Evertsen' that had sailed towards the Norvegian Royal Yacht, together with the 'Marnix' and the 'Piet Hein'.
