You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages onto our ship. In addition, you are free to use your own catering company.
The Route
We have our Rederij Kooij route. If there are certain parts of Amsterdam you wish to include in your cruise, please let us know. Where possible, we can adjust our route to your wishes.
Canal Cruise Boat options
Our canal boats are equipped with sliding side windows and rooftops from where out you can take beautiful pictures of the sights in Amsterdam. One of the boats is fitted with a open aft deck. Ask for availability. By rainy or cold weather our boats are fully closed and heated to give you a comfortable tour, even in the winter time. All boats come with a toilet.
Guided tours or background music
During the canal cruise you can choose to listen to your own music, by plugging in your own mobile phone or tablet (only with mini jack connection).
The tour is included with a guided audio tour. During the canal cruise you will be informed about the sights available in serval languages. Do you prefer a personal guide? Let us know in the quotation form.
J.F. Kennedy
The President John F. Kennedy is a special canal cruise boat, unique and only model in Amsterdam. The John F. Kennedy has a fully open aft deck. The interior is supplied with a bar, movable tables and chairs. The John F. Kennedy is very suitable for groups and marriages, with or without catering. The John F. Kennedy has transported many celebrities and Royals.

Particularities: Not available in the winter
Prinses Irene & Gerarda Johanna
The Prinses Irene and the Gerarda Johanna are two of the oldest canal boat in our fleet, built in 1936 and 1922. They have a flexible table and chair setup, offering room for a maximum of 30 people. Comfortable wicker chairs and Persian carpets also contribute to the historic appearance on the inside. They are perfectly suitable for small groups, with or without catering.
Particularities: 100% electric, historic look and feel. Multiple table set-ups possible
Prinses Bernard & Prinses Beatrix
The canal boats Prins Bernhard and the Prinses Beatrix are luxurious canal boats designed by Rederij Kooij. These boats are fitted with benches and tables. When the weather is good the back part and the side windows will be opened. It's possible to have a full dinner during the cruise or a buffet will be placed on the bar. The boat has a toilet and a sound system with microphone.
Up to 60 persons with drinks and snacks. Max. 50 persons when a full dinner is requested.
Particularities: Luxurious appearance, rooftop at the back of the boat can be opened in full.
Koningin Juliana & Albert Pieter
The Koningin Juliana and the Albert Pieter are luxurious canal cruise boats, designed by Rederij Kooij. They are both equipped with movable tables and chairs. By good weather the rear part of the roof can be opened. These boats are very suitable for canal cruises with catering through the canals of Amsterdam. The dinners are possible as a buffet or with table service.
With diner max. capacity 45 persons
Particularities: Multiple table set-ups possible. An pleasant interior and an open rear roof choice.
