Restoration
The Albert was completely restored and electrified in 2019. Due to the rich and far-reaching history of this ship, it was decided to restore it as accurately as possible back to its original state. Extra attention has been given to the special details and choice of materials, so there is solid woodwork, brass and enamel, the floor and window styles have also been done. The Albert can be recognized from afar by its long pointed bow. In addition, the Albert is very narrow, which makes it very maneuverable in the sometimes narrow and busy canals of Amsterdam. At the bottom of the page you will find a number of photos of the details mentioned.
Albert Kooy
The Albert owes its name to Albert Kooij. He was the father of founder Piet Kooij. At the bottom of the page you can find a portrait of Albert Kooij.
